“Congratulations on a 120-year anniversary,” the former heavyweight champion of the world said. “Black Panther forever.”

Black Panther was the nickname given to Benfica legend Eusebio, one of the best players the world has ever seen.

During his career, he won the European Cup, Ballon d’Or and 11 league titles with Benfica, scoring 473 times in 440 appearances for the club.

In fact, Tyson has had a soft spot for the Portuguese side for at least a decade and has worn their shirts several times in the past.

He has even been with the Benfica squad to take photos, posing with the team.

His love for Benfica stemmed from one of his close pals gifting him a shirt a long time ago, kickstarting an unlikely love affair.

Tyson has worn a Juventus shirt recently as well as a number of othersCredit: Instagram @juventus”It’s been many years, but I still have that sweater at home,” he said in 2015.

“It was offered by a friend of mine, a son of Portuguese immigrants in the United States.

“He always spoke to me about Benfica and his passion for the club, so I was curious. I’ve read about the story of the Glorious (Benfica’s nickname).”

But while Tyson might follow the Lisbon-based side, they are not the only football club he appears to have an affiliation with.

Recently, the 57-year-old was part of a Juventus marketing scheme, promoting their latest kit.

And that is not all, and he has worn the shirts of England, Brazil, Rangers, Wolves, Manchester United and even Peterborough in the past.

Tyson is one of the most famous people ever in boxing after an electric career and is regarded as one of the best heavyweights of all time.

At 20 years and 145 days, he became the youngest boxer ever to win a heavyweight title when he knocked Trevor Berbick out in the second round.
