Minnesota Football Staff Saved Football Player’s Life Who Suffered Cardiac Arrest with AED

Thank God for the football coaching staff of Stillwater High School in Minnesota. We can finally write an article about a positive story.

Coaches and Athletic Trainers should be excited because their hard work and dedication to save one of their players lives has worked.

Back on September 24th, a sophomore football player collapsed on the field and went into cardiac arrest.

The Coaches and Athletic trainers, spurred into action and placed an AED on the players chest. They began giving Keegan Hawke CPR and were able to bring him back to life.

The AED did what it was supposed to, restarted Hawke’s heart as he was rushed to Regions Hospital.

After 72 hours in an induced coma and a total of 11 days in various hospitals, the young football player returned home with a device that’ll monitor his heart and deliver a shock if and when he needs it.

This is a huge win for football!
