The NBA All-Star Weekend is returning to Phoenix. The NBA announced earlier today that Phoenix has been selected to host the 2027 NBA All-Star Weekend. That will be the 4 time in history the city of Phoenix will host the star-studded event. They did it earlier in 1975, 1995 and 2009. That is great news as the event will help boost the economy of Phoenix and even salvage their $400 million crisis.

According to a 2023 analysis by the Joint Legislative Committee, the state of Arizona faced a $400 million budget shortfall at the end of last year. Two major reasons cited for the crisis were declining income and sales tax collections. However, NBA’s latest announcement is projected to solve that issue.
