More Crystal Dynamics Remasters Could Be On The Way
Evidence of Soul Reaver revivals surfaces
It looks like Crystal Dynamics could be reviving the 1999 action-adventure Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver and its sequel.
At San Diego Comic-Con this week, statues referencing ‘Legacy of Kain I & II Remastered’ have been spotted on display. This follows Dark Horse Comics announcing the comic book ‘Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver – The Dead Shall Rise’.
The statues above are scheduled to arrive at some point in August according to an official comment, with more information to be revealed soon. So, perhaps we might hear an announcement about possible video game remasters in the immediate future.
Although the Soul Reaver games weren’t released on Xbox back in the day, they were both made available across multiple platforms at the time including Windows. Crystal Dynamics’ Tomb Raider 1-3 Remaster was also released earlier this year on the Xbox, and the developer is currently working with The Initiative on the new Perfect Dark game.
Would you be interested in seeing the return of these titles? Let us know in the comments.
