‘Nanatsu no Taizai: Mokushiroku no Yonkishi’ Season 2 Unveils Additional Cast, Theme Songs, First Promo
The official website for the Nanatsu no Taizai: Mokushiroku no Yonkishi (The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse) television anime series revealed on Tuesday three additional casts, theme songs, key visual (pictured), and a promotional video for the second season. The new season is scheduled to premiere on October 6 at 4:30 p.m. on TBS’ 28 affiliated stations.

J-rock band UVERworld (Bleach, Ao no Exorcist) is performing the opening theme “MMH” and Hana Hope (Ookami to Koushinryou: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf, Hametsu no Oukoku) performs the ending theme “Akairo.” The opening theme is previewed in the promotional video below.
Maki Kodaira (Pokemon (2019)) returns to direct the new season at Telecom Animation Film. Shigeru Murakoshi (Yuusha, Yamemasu) is handling the series composition and script. Youichi Takada (Blue Thermal chief animation director) is designing the characters and Kohta Yamamoto (Nanatsu no Taizai: Imashime no Fukkatsu) is composing the music.
The anime adapts Nakaba Suzuki’s sequel to the Nanatsu no Taizai manga, which began in Weekly Shounen Magazine in January 2021. Kodansha will ship the 15th volume on January 17. Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in February 2021 and released the 11th volume on February 13. The 12th volume will go on sale on May 7.
