Nathy Peluso Announces New Album ‘Grasa’ With Surprise Pop-Up at Prince Street Pizza in NYC
“Who wants Grasa!” the artist shouted as she served pizza in Manhattan, in celebration of the announcement of her May 24 LP.
After a four-year hiatus, Nathy Peluso will return with her third studio album Grasa on May 24, she announced Thursday (May 2). To mark the occasion, the Argentine-Spanish rapper and singer made a surprise appearance at Prince Street Pizza in New York, where she served up slices of the restaurant’s famously greasy pizza.
“Who wants Grasa!” the artist shouted as she served up eager fans.
In a recent conversation with Billboard Español, the rapper spoke about the album’s title, saying, “I started looking for words that would envelop me in what I wanted to transmit, which in the end is something rough, something strong. The word grasa came from a feeling, and I also wanted a word that had a lot of meanings, that people could appropriate the word.”
The album announcement was preceded by her latest single, “JET_Set.mp3,” alongside Argentine singer Emilia, which was released in January of this year. Grasa is the follow-up album to 2020’s pandemic-released Calambre.

Before announcing Grasa, Nathy Peluso made a thrilling surprise appearance on April 27 with Colombian superstar Karol G at the Velez Sarsfield stadium in Buenos Aires during Karol’s Latin American tour. Together, they performed “Gato Malo” from Karol’s 2021 album KG056. “She invited me to play in Buenos Aires, which means a lot to me, and we had never played [the song] live together and it was super special,” she adds.
