Netflix Releases Paul vs. Tyson Trailer after the Former Athlete Proposes a Bet
Jake Paul and Mike Tyson’s boxing match is just around the corner after a lengthy delay. El Gallo will face off against the Baddest Man on the Planet on November 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Everyone Has a Plan Until They Get Punched in the Mouth
Originally planned to take place in July, the postponed game has now generated even more hype, keeping boxing fans on the edge of their seats. The event is set to be streamed globally exclusively on Netflix, providing fans and bettors with front seats to the action and allowing them to swallow every second of it.
Speaking of Netflix, the global streaming platform released an exciting trailer for the game, providing fans with a preview of what’s to come.
The trailer features both fighters as they face off in a mock fight ahead of the big game. It emphasizes the confident nature of both fighters and some of their similarities despite their dramatic age difference. With both fighters once claiming to be either “the face of the sport” and “the best fighter in the world,” the game will not only secure them fame but also significant bragging rights.
The video concludes with the two fighters throwing punches against one another before the camera freezes. The narrator then teases viewers that there is only one way to know what happens next.
Paul Puts Forward a Betting Offer
As the game approaches, the two fighters continue to exchange taunts. Paul, for example, recently proposed putting $5 million on the line if Tyson would agree to a bet. If Tyson lasts at least four rounds, he would take the money. If he loses, however, he would have to get a tattoo that says “I love Jake Paul.”
Tyson suggested that he would consider the deal if it involved $20 million instead.
The upcoming clash is very interesting for a variety of reasons. While both fighters have, at one point, claimed to be the best in the world, they are representatives of different generations and have an age difference of over 30 years.
Some have emphasized Tyson’s lengthy experience and legendary status, trusting him to prevail over Paul whom they see as an upstart. Others, however, believe that Tyson’s confidence when faced with a much younger fighter is nothing more than bravado. Tyson, for context, hasn’t competed professionally for almost two decades.
Since the two athletes both have a strong track record, the outcome of the upcoming match is even more unclear. Betting operators recently said that Paul is the favorite to win but noted that, if the betting volume is any indication, the fans seem to favor Tyson.
