New Orleans Super Bowl LIX Committee to host the third Bridge 2 Innovation STEM Fest

The New Orleans Super Bowl Host Committee has announced that they will host their third Bridge 2 Innovation STEM Fest on Saturday, January 18th, 2025. Bridge 2 Innovation is one of the many community programs managed and supported by the New Orleans Super Bowl LIX Host Committee, led by the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and New Orleans Saints.

This free event will be held at Bonnabel High School in Kenner from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is open to students in grades K-12 and will feature interactive stations focused on industries like energy, petroleum, healthcare, engineering, and technology.

Like football, innovation moves quickly, bringing rapid advancements that inspire and create unique learning opportunities for students. The Greater New Orleans region is home to one of the most advanced rocket-building centers in the world, the NASA Michoud Assembly Facility. For students in the Greater New Orleans region, this proximity underlines the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) programs and future career opportunities.

This initiative provides hands-on, interactive learning experiences that spark curiosity and introduce students to future opportunities in STEM fields. The upcoming Bridge 2 Innovation STEM Fest will feature interactive stations from sponsor companies, including Chevron’s emphasis on energy innovation, and Ochsner Health’s insights into healthcare. The Bridge 2 Innovation STEM Fest series is just one of the many ways Super Bowl LIX is benefiting the Greater New Orleans community in the lead-up to the big game.
