Newcastle v Chelsea tickets ballot shambles – This is woeful for Newcastle United members

What a shambles with the Newcastle v Chelsea tickets ballot.

The club yet again messing Newcastle United members around.

This is the information that the club released in advance of the Newcastle v Chelsea tickets ballot.

Mags Member & Season Ticket Holder not enrolled in cup scheme ballot open: Tuesday 8th October, 10am

Mags Member & Season Ticket Holder not enrolled in cup scheme ballot close: Thursday 10th October, 10am

Mags Member & Season Ticket Holder not enrolled in cup scheme ballot run: Successful applicants to be notified before 1pm, Thursday 10th October

Mags Member & Season Ticket Holder seat selection window open (Ballot winners only): Thursday 10th October, 2pm

I entered the Newcastle v Chelsea tickets ballot and was waiting on my email by 1pm, so I could join the queue for the 2pm opening to select seats.

Yet sending this now to The Mag at 1.55pm, still no email from the club. I have checked with half a dozen frineds and family who are members, they haven’t had an email either.

So I have joined the queue to get on to the ticketing site.

Apparently at 2pm there is also a points drop for Forest away.

So I guess those people are in this queue as well.

What a way to treat your ‘customers’…

This kind of thing happens time and time again.

We expected it from Mike Ashley but surely these Newcastle United owners should be capable of treating their ‘customers’ better.

We don’t ask a lot as Newcastle United fans.

Which is just as well!
