News Not Bad Enough for You? RFK Jr. Is Reportedly Considering Another Presidential Run
If youâve ever looked at Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and thought âI like the work heâs doing undermining vaccines and otherwise putting millions of peopleâs lives at risk, but Iâd like to see it done on a bigger scale,â today is your lucky day. According to a new report, Mr. MAHA may be considering making another presidential run in 2028.
Axios reports that Kennedyâs super PAC âco-hosted an organizing call for supporters and influencers last week,â a move that has stirred âspeculation that heâs positioning for a run at the White House in 2028.â The Zoom call brought together hundreds of Kennedyâs supporters and was âaimed at energizing his grassroots âMake America Healthy Againâ movement and discussing ways to build enthusiasm for the Health and Human Services secretary.â While a presidential campaign was not âexplicitly discussed,â two people familiar with the matter told Axios that they came away from the event âbelieving it was a step toward another campaign for Kennedy, whose long-shot run in 2024 wound up helping Donald Trump to victory.â The call was reportedly led by Tony Lyons, the cofounder and cochairman of the MAHA super PAC; vaccine skeptic Robert Malone, and Kennedy adviser Stefanie Spear. According to Axios, it was Lyonsâs involvement that people saw âas a sign that the PAC would help prepare a campaign and fundraising machine in-waiting for Kennedy, to be ready if he chooses to run.â
How would Kennedy pitch himself to the American people during a second potential shot at the White House? While he would undoubtedly tout his war on synthetic food dyes, he could also run on:
Helping usher in a record-breaking number of measles cases in the US, thanks to his dedication to undermining vaccinesHis support for the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which will cause millions of people, many of whom are children, to lose health insuranceThe National Cancer Institute cuts that experts warn will âset this nation back dramatically in our ability to reduce death and sufferingâThe proposed near total elimination of funding to the CDCâs chronic disease center, despite Kennedyâs claims of being all about fighting chronic diseaseItâll be tricky to fit it all onto a lawn sign, but surely he can come up with some kind of snappy slogan to summarize the above. Or maybe just a photo of him dressed as the grim reaper would suffice.
Oh, so now heâs supposed to remember the people he appointed and has since turned on?
Hey, quick question, who ends up paying for tariffs
