Measuring height, weight, and hand size has never been so exciting.

Most people reserve those measurements for the yearly doctor’s visit (well, maybe not the hand size measurement), but at the NFL Combine, getting those measurements is an important part of the draft process.

Plenty of players have heard their combine measurements get picked apart as critiques. Just ask Joe Burrow and Kenny Pickett about their hands, or Bryce Young and Kyler Murray about their height.

Those measurements can certainly be a positive. Last year, tight ends like Darnell Washington and Zack Kuntz benefitted from eye-popping measurements and impressive combine results, highlighting standout combinations of size and speed.

There will be plenty of measurements taken at the 2024 NFL Combine that will merit attention. Georgia’s Brock Bowers is an impressive pass-catching tight end, but some have speculated about his height at the position. There have also been plenty of concerns about the weight of LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels, who is a dangerous runner when he takes off.
