
NFL cuts: Philadelphia Eagles roster tracking coverage
With NFL cuts upon us, weâre using our first-ever stream here on BGNâs new WordPress platform to help you keep track of all our coverage relating to the Philadelphia Eagles making roster moves. We already have a designated tracker thread but this stream also includes the standalone articles for happenings that warrant more than just a simple update in there.
Once Tuesdayâs 4:00 PM Eastern roster cuts deadline is behind us, we will be keeping an eye on any waiver claims the Eagles might make, with those moves coming in at around 12:00 PM Eastern on Wednesday, August 27. The Bird are dead last in the waiver wire order as a result of winning Super Bowl LIX. Talk about a good problem to have. After claims come to fruition, the Eagles and all of the other NFL teams will start constructing their practice squads.

The Philadelphia Eagles are waiving rookie quarterback Kyle McCord, according to a report from NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
McCord was the Birdsâ seventh pick (a sixth-round selection at No. 181 overall) in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Mount Laurel, New Jersey native was drafted to realistically compete with Dorian Thompson-Robinson for the emergency third quarterback role.
