Travis Kelce—the boyfriend of singer Taylor Swift, prominent commercial personality, game show host and occasional football player—appeared in the third episode of season one of FX’s Grotesquerie on Wednesday night.
Kelce played Ed, seemingly an orderly at the hospital where Detective Lois Tryon (Niecy Nash-Betts) was visiting her husband Marshall (Courtney B Vance), who was in a coma.
The pair flirted a bit before Ed made a prophetic prediction about what might happen to Tryon once she left the hospital. They were then reunited in a surreal scene that followed.
Folks on social media seemed impressed with Kelce’s acting chops after his cameo:

Nash-Betts, meanwhile, told Julia Moore of People that Kelce was “very professional” on set and “always came prepared.”
“Travis was very open. He was very open on if there was a note given or a suggestion given,” she added. “So amenable. ‘Tell me what I don’t know. Tell me what your thought is on this.’ I love that he didn’t come in trying to act like, ‘I know everything and I know it all.'”
