Nick Hughes Becomes Bet365’s New CPO of Gaming

Gambling giant bet365 has named the experienced Nick Hughes as its new chief product officer of gaming. Hughes confirmed his appointment on LinkedIn, sharing his excitement about the new position.

The newly-promoted appointee is no stranger to bet365’s business and has served the company for almost a decade now. Hughes joined the gambling powerhouse in August 2014, initially serving as a gaming customer service advisor. After almost a year in this role, he was promoted to the position of operations gaming support advisor.

In December 2015, Hughes became bet365’s operation gaming support team leader. He remained in this role for almost two years. Eventually, the man was named as the company’s operation gaming support supervisor. After a year in this position, he was designated as deputy manager of the operations gaming support team.

In August 2019, Hughes became the operations gaming support team’s new manager. After almost two years in this role, the long-time appointee was named as bet365’s deputy head of gaming. Thanks to his excellence, Hughes became the head of gaming a year later.

In addition to having spent almost ten years at bet365, Hughes’ track record also includes stints with a variety of other companies. He has served as a senior resourcing consultant at the Costain Group and recruitment consultant at the Concorde Group. He also spent some time as a managing consultant at Beach Baker Property Recruitment and was a consultant at Judd Farris and Intelligent Staffing Solutions.

In his new role, the appointee will be responsible for overseeing and enacting bet365’s product strategy.

Speaking of bet365, the company recently formed a new partnership with Evolution, securing access to the latter company’s cutting-edge games. As a result, gamblers can now experience titles such as Crazy Time, Dream Catcher and Monopoly Live, among others.

Bet365 also onboarded content from EGT Digital, a Bulgarian specialist in iGaming technology.

In the meantime, the AUSTRAC launched a new AML probe into bet365’s Hillside brand, warning that it “will not hesitate to take action” if it identifies instances of non-compliance.
