Global sportswear giant Nike has revealed the highly-anticipated kits for Nigeria’s national football team, the Super Eagles, ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Soccernet.ng reports.

The home jersey boldly showcases Nigeria’s iconic green and white colour scheme, creating a vibrant and distinctive look for the team.

On the flip side, the away jersey adopts a clean white background adorned with a subtle touch of green, adding a touch of sophistication to the ensemble.

The Super Eagles, led by coach Jose Peseiro, are gearing up for the AFCON 2023 with a determined eye on claiming their fourth championship title.

Drawn into Group A, they are set to face stiff competition from hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau.

The action for the Super Eagles kicks off on January 14 at the Alssanne Quattara Stadium in Ebimpe, Abidjan, where they will go head-to-head with Equatorial Guinea.

Four days later, the team faces a formidable challenge in a rematch against hosts Cote d’Ivoire, recalling the intense quarter-final clash from the 2013 edition, which saw the Super Eagles emerge victorious with a 2-1 scoreline.

The group stage concludes for Nigeria on January 22, when they square off against Guinea-Bissau, setting the stage for a captivating journey through the tournament.
