In this announcement, fans were thrilled to see Novak Djokovic bagging the title of Best Serbian Athlete of 2023. Along with Djokovic, Serbiaâs Ivana Spanovic also received similar recognition from the committee.
While beginning the ceremony, the President of the Serbian Olympic Committee said- âLast year, our athletes won many medals and trophies. But I want to emphasize that not only medals and trophies are indicators of where our sport is, but also a large number of successfully organized international competitions in our country, including world and European championships.
