Nyaight of the Living Cat Anime Cross-Promotes With 28 Years Later Film

The Nyaight of the Living Cat anime staff announced on Friday that it is collaborating with the 2025 post-apocalyptic zombie film 28 Years Later. The anime’s staff noted the series is entering the “Nyanpocalypse Arc” and posted an image of the Nyaight of the Living Cat and 28 Years Later collaboration movie poster:

Sony Pictures Japan then posted a collaboration video featuring clips from Nyaight of the Living Cat and 28 Years Later with narration by Nyaight of the Living Cat characters Kunagi (voiced by Masaaki Mizunaka) and Kaoru (Reina Ueda):

Nyaight of the Living Cat premiered on July 8 and is available on Crunchyroll. 28 Years Later opened on June 20 and is the second sequel to 2002’s 28 Days Later. The film stars Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Alfie Williams, and Ralph Fiennes as they survive the continuing zombie outbreak in the Scottish Highlands.
