The Elite defeated Bryan Danielson, Darby Allin and FTR in an Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing on Sunday.
“Jungle Boy” Jack Perry crushed Danielson with a running knee to secure the pin and victory for The Elite.
However, this match will be remembered for some unbelievable moments, including Perry attacking AEW president Tony Khan, Darby Allin setting Perry on fire and Allin being hung up by his ankles and feet above the ring.

Over the past several weeks, The Young Bucks have seized power in AEW by launching attacks against the other highest-ranking officials in the company.
It started several weeks ago on Dynamite during a segment in which Khan reinstated Perry to the company, just days after Perry returned and helped The Young Bucks beat FTR in a ladder match for the vacant AEW World Tag Team Championships at Dynasty.
Perry hit Khan in the stomach with a microphone and then looked on as Matthew and Nicholas Jackson spiked Khan on his head with the aptly named Tony Khan Driver.
One week later, The Young Bucks used their status as executive vice presidents to take control of the show while Khan was away recovering. On the same show, another EVP in Kenny Omega returned amid his recovery from diverticulitis.
The Young Bucks, Perry and Kazuchika Okada had no interest in sharing their power, though, as they brutally attacked Omega, resulting in him getting stretchered out of the ring.
On the following week’s episode of Dynamite. Omega appeared on the show from his hospital bed and announced that The Elite would have to compete in an Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing.
FTR’s Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler were the first members of the team representing AEW announced for the match due to their long-running rivalry with The Young Bucks and the fact that Perry cost them the tag titles at Dynasty.
Later, Danielson and Eddie Kingston revealed themselves to be FTR’s partners, leading to a melee that had to be broken up by security.
Kingston had recently been involved in a feud with Okada that saw him drop the Continental Championship to The Rainmaker, while Danielson has been one of the heart-and-soul stars of AEW since his arrival in 2021, and has history with Okada in his own right.
However, it was later revealed that Kingston suffered a significant knee injury, prompting Allin to return early from his own injury to team up with Danielson and FTR.
Since the latest iteration of The Elite is still brand new, they needed a big win in order to establish credibility, and that is what they got at Double or Nothing by taking down FTR, Danielson and Allin.
