The singer and actor will executive produce multiple new projects for the network, starting with āFamily Affair.ā
The movie inspired by Mary J. Bligeās 2001 song of the same name, will debut in 2025 as part of the networkās Voices of Lifetime slate, per Variety.
Previously, the singer and Lifetime collaborated on āReal Loveā and āStrength of a Woman,ā both inspired by her songs of the same names.
Variety reports that actors Ajiona Alexus and DaāVinchi will headline Mary J. Bligeās, āFamily Affair.ā Both Alexus and DaāVinchi previously appeared in Mary J. Bligeās, āReal Loveā and āStrength of a Woman.ā
Mary J. Bligeās, āFamily Affairā marks another collaboration for Ajiona Alexus and DaāVinchi, who also star in the Starāz āBMFā series.
Blavity reveals Jordan and John Davis of Davis Entertainment will return to executive produce the film. Bruce Miller and Milana Edwards-Brooks will serve as co-producers.
