Whew, chileee! Soulja Boy went OFF on the internet after folks started sounding off about him performing at the Crypto Ball, which reportedly celebrated Donald Trump. As The Shade Room previously shared, Soulja joined Snoop Dogg and Rick Ross on the event’s lineup.

Soulja Boy Claps Back At The Internet Over Crypto Ball Performance
When clips of Soulja Boy performing at the Crypto Ball in D.C. hit social media, the internet wasted no time labeling him a sellout. But in a video shared by LiveBitez, Soulja clapped back, breaking down why he hit the stage.

Soulja, being Soulja, flexed his cash on camera while saying VP Kamala Harris and Barack Obama didn’t call him or offer to put money in his pockets, but Trump did. The ‘Crank That’ rapper also claimed the event wasn’t even for Trump, and he didn’t show up.

“Y’all want me to not answer the phone for the president, this is the president of the m***** f*****g United States. Trump wasn’t even there. It was the Crypto Ball for crypto n****s,” Soulja said.

Additionally, Soulja let it be known that he could care less if people tried to cancel him for performing at the event. He even mentioned that he would do it again if he could. “I don’t give a f*** what nobody talking about. I’m gonna do whatever the f*** I want to do. And I’ll go again.” 

Soulja Boy Keeps It Real About Securing The Bag
In another clip from LiveBitez, Soulja said he felt like the crypto crew and Trump tried to play him, but he kept it real and admitted he was only halfway bothered.

“I 50/50 ain’t give a f*** though. Halfway, I was like Man, f*** Trump. I don’t f*** with him and halfway was like it’s the president. But whatever, man, I don’t give a f***.”

He kept it real, saying he hit the stage because he had bills to pay.

“Imma keep it gangster it was 50/50. Half of me was like I don’t know, then the other half was like I need this bag so it is what it is. If y’all mad man I get it. But hey I needed the money man. I ain’t gone lie. I needed that bag dawg,” Soulja said while cracking up.
