Outlander’s Nell Hudson Gives Birth, Welcomes First Baby With Max King
Cardi B, Justin & Hailey Bieber, Margot Robbie & More Stars Welcome Babies in 2024
Say, could that lass be Nell Hudson’s baby?
The Outlander star became a mom when she gave birth to her and husband Max King’s first child, a daughter.
“I canât believe everyone ever was given birth to by a woman and we all just go around like itâs normal,” Nell wrote on Instagram Aug. 6, posting a photo of her hospital bed as well as a snapshot of her newborn’s arm. “MOTHERS – I am in awe of all of you.”
Sharing that she’s now “broken in two in the best possible way,” the 34-year-old added, “Need a new word for love.”
Indeed, Nell’s journey to motherhood was filled with love. After all, she tied the knot with Max earlier this summer.
In photos shared on July 4, Nell wore a ruffled white gown as her groom cradled her baby bump. “First little look at some wedding pics,” she captioned. “What can I say that hasnât ever been said it really was the best day ever.”
The couple honeymooned in Greece, where Nell had an impromptu maternity shoot with the producer by the sea.
“Max took these and when I looked at them I had a good cry – emphasis on ‘good,'” she wrote alongside pictures of herself holding her bump on a waterfront dock. “Being at the end of pregnancy is such an extraordinary time. The symbolism of the sea, the vast unknown Iâm about to enter with motherhood, the feeling that I am walking down the last few steps of this chapter in my life, about to embark upon a new one.”

And to mark this special time in her life, Nell also had a professional maternity shoot with photographer Alexandra Cameron back home in the United Kingdom.
“With no ‘glam’ team, I drove up to the beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside and we waded through fields of long grass and wild flowers at the golden hour one Thursday evening in May,” she recounted on Instagram. “The photos turned out better than I could have imagined and I feel quite moved to have such a lovely memento of this special time.”
