Few anticipated that Oxygen Esports and Moist X Shopify Rebellion would outshine established franchise teams like Cloud9 and 100 Thieves. Interestingly, both Oxygen and MxS ended up not dropping a single map against the other two teams throughout the tournament. So, when the two in-form teams faced off in the grand final, the fans were in for a treat. Keep up with us to see how the match played out.

Ludwig x Tarik Valorant Invitational 2.0- Grand Final
The first matchup between the two teams took place in the Upper Finals. MxS won that encounter after coming back from being one map down. The maps played were Ascent, Split, and Lotus. This time around, there was a minor adjustment to the map pool, with Oxygen Esports opting to ban Lotus. The three selected maps for the grand final were Ascent, Split, and Sunset.

Oxygen Esports vs MxS Map 1: Ascent
Moist X Shopify Rebellion started the match similarly to how they finished it in the upper finals. flyuh’s team put on a dominating show and took the lead in the match by beating Oxygen Esports 13-9. It was a near-flawless performance by MxS, especially in their Defense, as they won 7 out of 10 rounds.

Brawk from MxS was the undisputed MVP on this map. The 23-year-old American delivered a Sova masterclass, finishing with an impressive score of 22-10-3. On the Oxygen Esports side, Reduxx showcased a remarkable performance with an ACS of 269, providing a glimpse of the domination he would display throughout the day.

Oxygen Esports vs MxS Map 2: Split
The second map started with a back-and-forth showdown everyone expects from a grand final. After 15 rounds, the score was 8-7, with MxS in the lead. However, things started to fall drastically in favor of Oxygen after that. Winning 6 rounds in a row, Oxygen Esports won the map and leveled the match 1-1.

Verno was the difference maker on Split. Thanks to his heroics, Oxygen managed to hold the fort down on Defense, eventually winning them the map. He was again helped by the young duelist, Reduxx, who had 10 first bloods on this map, equal to the combined first bloods of the other 9 players on the server.

Oxygen Esports vs MxS Map 3: Sunset
Sunset was different from the previous two maps. Unlike Split and Ascent, this map was an utterly one-sided stomp. Coming in with a double-duelist and double-controller agent comp, Oxygen Esports barely broke a sweat as they won the map by the score of 13-3.
