Ozzy Osbourne Calls Out Kanye West For Using Black Sabbath Sample Without Approval

Kanye West‘s new project with Ty Dolla $ign is already receiving poor reviews from rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, as the Prince of Darkness took to Twitter to call out West for sampling a Black Sabbath song without permission.

Osbourne made it clear that, while West did seek his approval, he was refused due to various anti-Semitic comments made over the last two years. Still, the sample found its way to West’s listening party for new album, Vultures.

The listening session in question took place at Chicago’s United Center on Thursday. It’s worth noting that Ozzy and wife Sharon Osbourne dressed up as West and wife Bianca Censori last Halloween.

Being labeled an anti-Semite doesn’t appear to bother the controversial musician, as he embraced being problematic like many of his celebrity peers on new song, “Carnival.”

“Anybody pissed off, gotta make them drink the urine/ Now, I’m Ye Kelly, bi**h/ Now I’m Bill Cosby, bi**h/ Now I’m Puff Daddy rich,” he rhymes.

While Osbourne is no fan of West, he recently showed love to T-Pain for his cover of the same song West allegedly sampled without approval.

“This is the best cover of ‘War Pigs’ ever,” Osbourne wrote in an X post. “Why didn’t you guys call me?”

Teddy responded to the compliment, “You’re always invited. Top of the list, every time!! Thank you so much. Means a lot coming from the greatness himself.”
