Palworld Type Chart, All Pal Element Strengths and Weaknessess
Palworld is a new Pokemon-esque survival shooter that is currently blowing up on Steam and across Xbox supported platforms. The game is currently in early access, and players can enjoy shooting and capturing pals and putting them to work, all in a vibrant colorful map that you’re meant to push through AKA survive.
The elements are pretty simple to understand once you figure them out, like dark is vulnerable to neutral, as is water vulnerable to fire, and so on. Pocket Pair has dropped a diagram showcasing the type chart of each element and it’s vulnerability. Hhowever, we’ve simplified it for you in a chart in this article.
The chart showcases each element’s strength and weakness, with a few exceptions in that list that might be stronger than the rest, and having more pals of that element class can you help you defeat bosses with ease.
Upon launching the game, you find yourself to start with 3 pals by default. We’ve listed which starter pals to chose from in our article here.

Palworld currently has sold several million copies on Steam and Xbox within a few days of release. The game will remain in early access for 10 to 12 months, with new pals being added in several updates. Optimization and bug fixes are on priority, but this doesn’t mean the content will take a backseat. Currently the game has about a 100 pals, and that number will increase as Pocketpair decide to add new ones.
“The addition of new monsters to further the Pal roster, new areas and dungeons to make exploration even more enjoyable, and the addition of new buildings and items that make the survival elements more pronounced and enjoyable, making the unique Palworld experience even more appealing. We are considering content to target,” read the early access blog post on Steam.
The game also has 350 items and pals of several elements to keep players booked and busy. “Depending on the progress of development, we may consider extending early access or if we are satisfied with the state of the game, officially releasing the game,” said Pocketpair.
Palworld is available to play on early access on PC through Steam, Xbox One/S/X through the game pass subscription or a separate purchase.
