The AFC blockbuster at Highmark Stadium was Patrick Mahomes’ first road game in the playoffs.
Before the game, Bills offensive tackle Dawkins predicted that Mahomes and the Chiefs would struggle against an in-form Buffalo team on home turf in sub-zero conditions.
He said: “[Mahomes has] only been here once. So, he’s never been here. Simple as that.”
He added: “We’re having two back-to-back playoff games home. Come on now, like we get to leave and go eat wings. It’s cool. So good luck.”

That three-word sign off caught No.15’s attention.
He and his teammates used it as fuel during the week and then in the game, battling to a gutsy 27-24 win in hostile conditions.
“We did hear it all week about playing a road game,” Mahomes said, “and we were here to prove a point and show we can play anywhere.”
After the game Mahomes took to social media to aim a petty dig at Dawkins after his pregame trash talk.
