Percy Jackson and the Olympians had a record-breaking premiere in its first six days on Disney+ and Hulu with over 13.3 million viewers, making its debut the biggest for Disney Branded Television and a top five season premiere of 2023 on Disney+ and Hulu.

Disney didn’t reveal where Percy Jackson and the Olympians ranked on that list of the best premieres on Disney+ and Hulu, but it very well may have joined the company with other such shows as The Mandalorian Season 3, Ahsoka, Loki Season 2, Secret Invasion, The Bear Season 2, Only Murders in the Building Season 3, and more.

Disney did share some premiere viewership details on these other shows, but the amount of time for each one has varied. For example, Loki Season 2’s was for 10.9 million in its first three days and Ahsoka’s was for 14 million in its first week.

As for Disney Branded Television, that group includes such shows as Goosebumps, The Santa Clauses, KIFF, Big City Greens, Superkitties, Bluey, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, and more. Disney shared that Goosebumps debuted to 4.2 million viewers earlier this year, but we weren’t told how many viewed it in the same six-day time frame as Percy Jackson.

It’s also important to note that these numbers are just for the first episode of Percy Jackson and the Olympians despite the first two episodes being released at the same time on Disney+. Hulu only got the the first episode.
