PFL reveals bantamweight field for 2025 World Tournament, including recent UFC fighter

The PFL has a bantamweight field for the 2025 World Tournament.

PFL officials announced the 135-divisional roster on Friday, which includes recent UFC competitor Jake Hadley, who has officially signed with the PFL for his chance to compete for a $500,000 grand prize.

The bantamweight field also includes recent Bellator title challenger Magomed Magomedov, who lost a controversial decision to champ Patchy Mix at Bellator Paris this past May, along with 10-fight Bellator vet Leandro Higo.

Others vying for the 135-pound tournament championship include undefeated fighters Sarvarjon Khamidov and Ciaran Clarke, Swedenā€™s Ali Taleb, Russian competitor Kasum Kasumov, and Spainā€™s Zebenzui Ruiz. Francesco Nuzzi and Matheus Mattos will serve as alternates.

Hadley earned a UFC contract on the Contender Series with a submission win over Mitch Raposo in October 2021 despite missing weight for the fight. UFC CEO Dana White put him over as a big-time talent, and while the bones seemed to be there, Hadley was victorious in just three of seven octagon appearances, and ended his UFC tenure dropping three of his past four contests, including a decision loss to Cameron Smotherman in October.
