The Green Bay Packers are a team built on tradition, but it appears they’ll be eschewing that a bit in 2024.
The Packers unveiled their new all-white uniform on Thursday after first teasing the reveal on Wednesday night. The Packers will wear these uniforms against the Houston Texans in Week 7 on Sunday, Oct. 20.

All-white uniforms have become increasingly popular in recent years. The Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Bengals and Jacksonville Jaguars are among the teams that have added white helmets as alternates of late.
This is a direct result of the NFL loosening rules governing alternates.
Teams will be allowed to wear a third alternate helmet beginning in the 2025 season.
The Packers have regularly stuck with their standard yellow helmet, which has undergone only minor alterations since the iconic G was added to the helmet in 1961. Before the G era, the Packers wore plain yellow helmets.
We’ll have to see how fans handle the attempt to bring the Packers into a new era. Suffice it to say the reactions will likely be polarizing.
