Photo: Super Falcons star flaunts Puma kicks as Wizkid shades the brand
Super Falcons and Benfica midfielder Christianah Ucheibe has taken to social media to showcase her Puma shoes,Soccernet.ng reports.
The Nigeria international has drawn attention with her new social media post despite recent comments from Nigerian music superstar Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, who has publicly shaded the brand.
The Grammy Award winner recently criticized Puma on social media, claiming the brand could not afford him, which followed a breakdown in their partnership.
In his comments, believed to be directed at fellow artist Davido Adeleke, known as Davido, Wizkid stressed the disparity in Puma’s financial offers for African artists compared to their foreign counterparts.
“No! Puma is a big brand. But the budget they had for Africa wasn’t for me. It was cool for your client [Davido] tho,” he responded to an X user.

While there has been no official announcement of a deal between Ucheibe and Puma, the timing of her post suggests a potential association with the German brand.
