Prattville takes on Pike Road on the first night of the Alabama High School Athletic Association Kickoff Classic, taking place at the Cramton Bowl. Friday, the second night of the Kickoff Classic, Fyffe faces Maplesville.

ABOUT PRATTVILLEThe Lions will be making their seventh appearance in the AHSAA Kickoff Classic, the most of anyone in the state. They were 3-3 in previous Kickoff Classic games.
Prattville is under a new head coach, Bobby Carr, who has won 256 career games. Heâs taking over a Lionsâ squad that went 5-5 in â24 and seeking their first postseason appearance since 2021.
ABOUT PIKE ROADLast season, the Patriots finished 10-4 and reached the Class 6A semifinals. In this decade, theyâve gone a combined 53-13, including a 5A state title in 2021.
