Big Boogie clears the air following the passing of his childhood friend, Laterrika Woods, who tragically died in a fatal crash following a high-speed chase involving Arkansas police.

A few days later, he responded to reports made by FOX13 Memphis, asking them to say her name. He clarified that Laterrika was his âchildhood sister,â someone he grew up with, and said she was like a sister to everyone. Boogie added that while people were reposting him because heâs a rapper, he was grieving just like everyone else. In his final tribute to Laterrika, he wrote: âI love you Laterrika Woods 100. And how anybody feel about our bond, they ainât on a thing on Jesus. If you was here, Iâd still be your brother. #4L.â
Man Charged in Crash That Killed Laterrika WoodsAs tributes continue for Laterrika Woods, attention has turned to the man allegedly responsible for the crash that claimed her life. Authorities have identified the driver as Torkilo Hambrick. He allegedly led Arkansas police on an 18-mile high-speed chase, reaching speeds of up to 120 mph. The pursuit ended when officers rammed the vehicle, causing a crash that killed Laterrika, who was a passenger.
Fox13 reports Hambrick has been charged with first-degree murder, second-degree battery, felony fleeing, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is currently being held on a $1.5 million bond.
Furthermore, two other passengers were also injured in the crash. Latarica Walker remains in critical condition, while a woman named Zuri Jones is in stable condition following surgery.
