Princess Anne’s Son Peter Phillips and His Girlfriend Lindsay Wallace Break Up

Peter Phillips, the son of Princess Anne and nephew of King Charles III, and his girlfriend Lindsay Wallace have ended their relationship. The couple, who made their public debut during Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee weekend in 2022, had reportedly been together for three years. A spokesperson for Phillips confirmed the breakup to People, adding that it was “a private matter.”

The Sun reports that the split was amicable. “They were friends before their relationship blossomed,” a source told the tabloid. “But Peter and Lindsay have gone their separate ways as the relationship simply ran its course.”

Wallace and Phillips originally met at the Gordonstoun School, where Wallace was friends with Phillips’s sister, Zara Tindall. According to the Daily Mail, the pair reconnected at a school reunion after Peter’s divorce from Autumn Kelly, his wife of 12 years, in 2020. Wallace and Phillips were first photographed together at the joint christening of Zara’s son, Lucas Tindall, and August Brooksbank, the son of Princess Eugenie, in November 2021. They later made the relationship official when they attended the Epsom Derby during the jubilee weekend. The next day, Wallace joined Phillips in the royal box at the Platinum Party at the Palace, alongside his two daughters, Isla and Savannah Phillips. In May 2023, Wallace made another appearance at the Coronation Concert royal box celebrating the king.

Though Peter and Wallace were photographed together at Zara’s home in November 2022 for a Vogue Australia spread, the magazine reported that Autumn was still living with Peter at his house on Gatcombe Park, Princess Anne’s 700-acre Gloucestershire estate.
