Princess Beatrice, Zara Tindall, and Matt Damon Enjoyed a Day at the Races
If there are two things Matt Damon likes, it’s them apples and rubbing shoulders with members of the royal family in Monaco.
Royal cousins Princess Beatrice and Zara Tindall attended the Monaco Grand Prix earlier this week, and photos posted to Instagram by Formula 1 reporter Natalie Pinkham include a snap of Zara crossing paths with the actor.
The royal cousins appear in several photos Pinkham posted Tuesday, including one in which Pinkham and Beatrice each kissed Tindall on one cheek, and another where Damon makes a cameo raising a glass with a smiling Pinkham and Tindall. Damon co-starred in the 2019 racing movie Ford V Ferrari, adding to his F1 cred.
Of course, Beatrice and Tindall weren’t the only royals on hand this week to take in the races. Monaco’s Princess Charlene and Prince Albert also attended the festivities. In an Instagram reel shared to their official joint account Wednesday, the couple called the day “a memory forever engraved in our minds.”
The annual race through the streets of Monaco, which this year took place on Sunday, reportedly drew the third-largest U.S. audience for a F1 race ever. The race was won by Charles Leclerc, the first Monegasque driver to take the championship title in 93 years.
