PS5’s Next Big Game Death Stranding 2 Is Complete and Ready for Release

For those not familiar with the industry lingo, the term “going gold” means core development has been completed, and developer Kojima Productions has submitted its master copy for manufacturing.

In this modern era, teams will often continue working on their games even while they’re being manufactured, which is why titles tend to receive day one updates. However, this is still a milestone moment, as it means v1.0 is complete.

Writing on X (or Twitter), auteur Hideo Kojima simply said “the journey begins soon”. Remember, those of you who pay for the more expensive Digital Deluxe Edition will get early access from 24th June.
