Real Madrid transfer news: Al-Hilal ‘to target Los Blancos superstar’ in 2025

Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Hilal reportedly ‘continue to dream’ about completing a mega-money deal for Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior.

Al-Hilal are reportedly ‘continuing to dream’ about Vinicius Junior, with the Saudi Pro League outfit willing to pay Ā£167.5m to secure his services during next summer’s transfer window.
Vinicius, 24, has again been in impressive form for Real Madrid during the 2024-25 campaign, scoring four goals and registering seven assists in 12 appearances in all competitions.

The Brazil international has a contract at Bernabeu until June 2027, but there has recently been speculation surrounding his future, with mega-rich clubs from the Saudi Pro League said to be keen on him.

According to Marca, Al Hilal ‘continue to dream’ about Vinicius, and the club would be prepared to pay Ā£167.5m to secure his services in 2025, with Real Madrid believed to be willing to consider offers in that region.

The report claims that ‘there was movement’ surrounding Vinicius during the recent transfer window, and there is again expected to be Saudi Arabian interest next year, with the forward potentially open to a fresh challenge.

Al Hilal ‘continue dream’ about Vinicius signing

Vinicius arrived at Real Madrid from Flamengo in 2018, and he has represented the capital giants on 276 occasions in all competitions, scoring 87 goals and registering 82 assists in the process.

The forward has a record of 21 goals and 22 assists in 58 matches for Los Blancos in the Champions League, while he has managed 53 goals and 44 assists in 185 league encounters.

Vinicius has won three La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey and two Champions League crowns since arriving at Real Madrid, in addition to enjoying success in the Spanish Super Cup, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.

There have been suggestions that Vinicius has been unsettled by Kylian Mbappe’s arrival, although the Frenchman’s move to Bernabeu has seen him revert back to his favoured left-sided attacking role.

Reports of tension between Real Madrid attackers have been quelled by Bellingham
Jude Bellingham recently addressed suggestions that there is tension between the attacking players at Bernabeu, with Los Blancos yet to find their rhythm in the early stages of the 2024-25 campaign.

“I saw on social media that they are trying to create something negative between me, Mbappe, Rodrygo and Vinicius. The only truth is that we are very good friends on and off the pitch,” he told reporters.

Real Madrid are currently second in the La Liga table, three points behind leaders Barcelona, while they suffered a 1-0 loss to Lille in the Champions League last week, which proved to be their first defeat since January.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side will return to action with a La Liga clash against Celta Vigo on October 19.
