Responsible Gambling Index for Providers
After the success of the Responsible Gambling Index in scoring how responsible and socially conscious are the operators of the industry, Gamblers Connect, an award-winning iGaming medium and a dedicated affiliate, has released yet another innovation – the Responsible Gambling Index for slot providers.
Considering the dedication of Gamblers Connect to responsible gambling, which can be seen not just in the creation of the Responsible Gambling Index, but in the overall way of work of the company where the safety of the players is a top priority, the release of such an innovation should come as no surprise whatsoever.
On paper, the Responsible Gambling Index by Gamblers Connect is the same – we still get 12 tools for responsible gambling and safer play. Gamblers Connect still applies the same strict criteria when evaluating the providers. And we still get the same grading system of 5 grades.
However, what is different now, is that Gamblers Connect changed the 12 tools to appropriately fit the description of iGaming software providers, something that has never been done before.
This means that every tool and feature in the system is meticulously created with the sole purpose of evaluating the providers in the utmost transparent and extensive way possible.
As we stated earlier, the grades remain the same. Depending on how many tools and features the software provider has, it will receive one of the following grades: Poor, Concern, Average, Great, or Exceptional.
None of the grades is final, as the entire point of the Index for operators created by Gamblers Connect is to encourage the big names of the iGaming world to take responsible gambling seriously and make a change, which is the only way to get a better score.
Consequently, the goal of the one-of-a-kind Responsible Gambling Index for software providers is the same as with the Responsible Gambling Index for operators – motivate the industry to improve their safer play practices, and with that, make iGaming safer for the ones who matter the most, the players.
