Rhamondre Stevenson cracks Patriots top-10 rushing leaders in franchise history

The New England Patriots haven’t been the most dominant rushing team this year, as they entered this weekend averaging the 19th-most yards gained on the ground per game (112.8).

However, Rhamondre Stevenson has been effective enough to move his way up the franchise’s record books, as he passed LeGarrette Blount (2,917 yards) for the 10th-most rushing yards in franchise history in the third quarter of New England’s Week 13 battle with the Indianapolis Colts.

Stevenson entered the game needing 55 yards, and he accomplished it on a first-and-10 run that went for seven yards. The 26-year-old could move up to the sixth spot if he runs well over the team’s final four games of the season.
