RHOBH’s Teddi Mellencamp and Boyfriend Break Up After One Month

Teen Mom’s Kailyn Lowry, Elijah Scott Break Up Nearly One Year After Engagement

Teddi Mellencamp is putting her dating life on the back burner.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum has ended her relationship with her boyfriend—whose identity she chose not to share publicly—just one month after revealing their secret romance.

“It started getting to the point where it was starting to get a little bit more serious,” she told cohost Erika Jayne during the July 11 episode of their Diamonds in the Rough podcast, “and I was like, ‘I don’t have the capacity for this right now.’”

The 44-year-old—who filed for divorce from estranged husband Eddie Arroyave in November—cited her ongoing battle with stage 4 cancer as a primary factor in the breakup, explaining that she opted to put her health before her love life.

“I don’t feel my best,” she admitted, “so when I have downtime, I want to rest.”

However, the reality star made a point of mentioning that there was “nothing that he did wrong,” adding that her now-ex “couldn’t be a nicer guy, but the timing sucks.”

In response, Erika, 54, said she was holding out hope for the pair, encouraging Teddi to “take a pause and maybe come back [to it in] the future.”

During the brief romance, Teddi certainly appeared smitten, describing her love interest as “really sweet and kind” on the podcast last month. In fact, she even shared that she preemptively gave him an out—which he promptly turned down.

“If for some reason you realize you need somebody that doesn’t have three kids, one million activities to do, 87 podcasts, you want more time than I’m able to give? I would not be mad at you for not even a second,” she recalled telling him at the time. “He’s like, ‘I am willing to do anything to be able to spend time with you.’”
