Teen Momâs Kailyn Lowry, Elijah Scott Break Up Nearly One Year After Engagement
Teddi Mellencamp is putting her dating life on the back burner.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum has ended her relationship with her boyfriendâwhose identity she chose not to share publiclyâjust one month after revealing their secret romance.
âIt started getting to the point where it was starting to get a little bit more serious,â she told cohost Erika Jayne during the July 11 episode of their Diamonds in the Rough podcast, âand I was like, âI donât have the capacity for this right now.ââ
The 44-year-oldâwho filed for divorce from estranged husband Eddie Arroyave in Novemberâcited her ongoing battle with stage 4 cancer as a primary factor in the breakup, explaining that she opted to put her health before her love life.
âI donât feel my best,â she admitted, âso when I have downtime, I want to rest.â
However, the reality star made a point of mentioning that there was ânothing that he did wrong,â adding that her now-ex âcouldnât be a nicer guy, but the timing sucks.â
In response, Erika, 54, said she was holding out hope for the pair, encouraging Teddi to âtake a pause and maybe come back [to it in] the future.â

During the brief romance, Teddi certainly appeared smitten, describing her love interest as âreally sweet and kindâ on the podcast last month. In fact, she even shared that she preemptively gave him an outâwhich he promptly turned down.
âIf for some reason you realize you need somebody that doesnât have three kids, one million activities to do, 87 podcasts, you want more time than Iâm able to give? I would not be mad at you for not even a second,â she recalled telling him at the time. âHeâs like, âI am willing to do anything to be able to spend time with you.ââ
