RHOBH’s Teddi Mellencamp Files For Divorce From Husband Edwin Arroyave
It’s over between Teddi Mellencamp and Edwin Arroyave.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum announced her split from her husband Nov. 2.
“After a great deal of care and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce,” Mellencamp wrote on Instagram. “My priority is my children and ensuring that every care is taken with their privacy and wellbeing throughout this new chapter.”
The 43-year-old—who shares kids Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 4, with Arroyave—continued, “Making a public statement is not something I wanted to do but in an effort to protect my family from undue speculation and rumors, I felt being open, honest and vulnerable was the best path forward.”
Arroyave, 47, has not commented publicly on the breakup. The news comes three months after he and Teddi marked their 13-year wedding anniversary.
“13 years ago I said ‘I do’ to you, @tedwinator,” she had written to him in an Instagram tribute in July. “15 years together and 13 years married. I am proud of us. Who would have thought between you simulating playing the keyboard and me simulating a singer on a country music demo, we’d make a perfect duo.”
She continued, “From Paris to the Riviera Maya, it’s been years of discovery, laughter, tears, growth, and companionship. While not perfect, we’ve put in the work to make our marriage what it is today. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. Love you, Papa. Excited to celebrate with you today and the beautiful family we have created.”
Their split also comes during a difficult health journey for Teddi, who has been battling skin cancer on and off for more than two years. Just over one week before she announced her divorce from Edwin, he had joined her at the 2024 Cure Melanoma Gala in New York City.
“I always say life and pain are inseparable,” he wrote on Instagram Oct. 25, alongside photos of the two at the event, including one showing them kissing. “And to see @teddimellencamp embrace her pain and use it for the greater good again last night as she emceed the @curemelanoma gala, was a beautiful reminder of what she is capable of.”
Edwin continued, “Her story has already saved lives. And I couldn’t be prouder that she will continue to save more. Love you, Teds. (So much so that I missed the Rams game to be there.)

The daughter of singer-songwriter John Mellencamp was diagnosed with a stage two melanoma in October 2022 and underwent surgery for it.
Then in October 2023, Teddi shared she had another melanoma. She underwent immunotherapy treatment but it was unsuccessful, and she went on to have more surgery—a wide excision to remove the tumor, plus soft tissue defect reconstruction with adjacent tissue rearrangement. In January, she said her oncologist told her she was melanoma-free.

This past October, the Two Ts in A Pod co-host opened up about her lengthy cancer battle in an exclusive E! News interview. The hardest part of it, she said, has been “the mental toll it takes.”
“I have big highs and lows depending on what’s going on with my surgeries and whatnot,” the wellness coach said. “And then also having those days where I say, ‘I’m just going to let myself crash today. I have these three hours to myself, I’m going to let myself have a little cry, feel these emotions.’ Then it’s easier to process than when you pretend that everything’s perfect all the time.”
