“RIP”: Ex-NFL Player Grieves the Untimely Loss of Beloved 34-Year-Old Family Member

Patrick Nix, the QB who played as the QB at Auburn University from 1992 to 1995, faced a huge off-field loss. “Our family is deeply saddened by the loss of my cousin Jarris McCall,” wrote the former head football coach at Henderson State University. “Just 34 years young with the most genuine heart a person could ever have. Cuz I love you and our family I will deeply miss you. Not a goodbye, but an ‘I’ll see you later’ This was a total shock. Life is so precious. Please call at least 1 of your family members today and tell them you love them,” further wrote the NFL star.

As he grieves the loss of his loved one, more prayers and condolences from fans are expected to roll in. Even Gavin Nix’s reaction, his son who is also a 2025 four-star standout linebacker at Colorado. Stay tuned for more updates.
