Robbed Fans Bash Fox as Commercial Plagued Broadcast Overshadows Rick Hendrick & Jimmie Johnson’s Unending Texas Misery

The NASCAR Cup Series coverage from FOX has irked the fans once again. During the ongoing race at Texas Motor Speedway, Christopher Bell’s No. 20 car got loose coming into Turn 4 and spun across the race track. His spin caused a pile behind and Alex Bowman came out the worst of the whole incident.

Bowman at first seemed to have just spun off the track but was wrecked by John Hunter Nemechek’s car, resulting in heavy damages. Bell himself sustained a hit on the back of his car but Bowman’s ride was beyond repairs. This caution once again allowed the driver to make a pit stop. Kyle Larson, taking advantage of this, is once again in the lead. Tailing just behind him is Denny Hamlin, who also has a quick race car today.

Interestingly, just before the whole incident took place, the FOX coverage switched to commercials and thus the fans had no clue about the crash. Reacting to the whole goof-up on FOX’s side, the fans were absolutely livid about missing out on the big moments from the race, thanks to repeated commercial breaks.

Blasting FOX’s coverage, a user wrote, “I guess I need to get the play by play from Bob because the coverage we get with Fox is terrible!”

Another fan stated that he wouldn’t have known about the wreck, thanks to the commercial break every fifteen laps. “Wouldn’t know. Fox takes a commercial every 15 laps”.

This certainly has become a recurring theme of FOX being unable to cover the major crashes or moments in the race, just because of their commercials. “This broadcast is absolute trash. We miss every caution”.

This broadcast is absolute trash. We miss every caution.

Sharing a similar sentiment, another fan replied, “Of course tv viewers missed it because Fox was yet again, at commercial…Fox’s coverage is beyond awful”.
