I’ll be honest, I was expecting worse… so well done box team!

I was already interested in Eternal Strands so it being on Gamepass is a huge win.

Quite the diverse group of games. Alan Wake DLC and Cronos are about all that grabbed me (and that is ok)

I’ll try the other Remedy game on Gamepass as I celebrate their entire catolog.

The Mouse Shooting game looks like a sleeper hit.

A little low key, but there were some fun ones. Eternal Strands looks interesting, Eden Zero as well. I’ve played Animal Well and I think a lot of people are going to like that one.

But wow. Cronos New Dawn looks super creepy. if OD comes out in 2025 as well, then next year is going to be a good year for horror.

Cronos and Mouse were the best things on display.

Why the heck did it take Animal Well so long to come to Xbox? Was there some kind of “on Playstation and Switch only” agreement in its PS+ structure? I had been thinking after it left PS+ it might come to Game Pass. Otherwise, why not launch on Xbox as well?

Look forward to playing it anyway. I’ll wait for a sale. Ain’t got time for it now.

@jesse_dylan Assumably, they didn’t think they’d sell enough copies. But I do agree that now is really strange timing. Maybe it was dunkey’s way of punishing Xbox lol.

At this rate the PS5 Pro will only be getting used for Ghost of Yotei next year. šŸ˜‚

@Bigmanfan maybe they originally had a game pass deal that fell through so waiting any longer didnā€™t make sense? I guess weā€™ll never know. Just seems like they might as well have released it on Xbox at launch like they did switch, unless some kind of odd exclusivity prevented it

@jesse_dylan I honestly think they must’ve just not expected it to be profitable. Also, the game was developed by like one dude. He might’ve just not had time to get to an Xbox version before this.

1.Did remedy learn from the last MP game they offered the campaign for and it flopped? Did they learn from Bleeding Edge by Ninja Theory? They may have a fair spin to offer for sure it’s just hmm how will this go.

2.Subnautica 2 is cool to have early access for.

3.unique shooter I don’t see it at all. Other things I’d seek instead in a shooter to be unique as playing PS3/360/Wii ones with unique ideas still today. Give me some The Club remaster then Sega. Or whoever published Fracture or others.

Give me hive mind enemies to learn, remove, copy players (yes Dark Link copies I know). Make a game around that AI then.

4.The rest seem fair, haven’t followed, heard of or cared to hear about the others really. They seem fine.

Nothing of interest though.

Thanks for sharing Fraser, very helpful. The Xbox video hasn’t been trimmed yet on YouTube and it starts at the 3 hour mark so glad you did this round up so I didn’t have to!

Mouse P.I. for hire has my interest peaked since the first time I saw it. Please let it be good!

@Nexozi Which is weird because by the time it comes out, well over 200 games will likely officially support PS5 Pro and thousand others will get the treatment from the console level boost mode.

Not sure that šŸ˜‚ was warranted.

And anyway, won’t Indiana Jones utilise the PS5 Pro too before Ghost of Yotei, or will Ghost also be released before, January 2021 announced, Indy? šŸ˜… šŸ˜…šŸ˜…šŸ˜…šŸ˜…šŸ˜…šŸ˜…šŸ˜…šŸ˜…

I like how Xbox finally found a structure in their presentations after they hired Tina Amini.
You have Developer_Direct for upcoming first-party games in january/february, Partner Preview in march, big blowout showcase in june, Gamescom in august, TGS in september and then another Partner Preview in october.
Every showcase has different theme and direction so you can distinguish them.

So well done.
In terms of games, that new Bloober Team game looks promising and Eternal Strands on GP is great news since I wanted to pick up the game.

@andrewsqual The only game I’m really looking forward to playing on my PS5 Pro is ghost of Yotei. COD and Indy are free with gamepass, so why would I buy them? šŸ˜‚ Couple of games listed here I was looking at but they’re going to be on gamepass as well. I’ll still be playing through my backlog as well. So only 1 new game for me for next year so far.

A meaty addition to the already busy Xbox release schedule. I don’t know which would by highlight. I like horror, but Bloober still has to convince me. I love Immortals Fenyx Rising, but we will have to wait and see how good Eternal Strands is (oh, it’s coming to Game Pass!). It’s nice to see Alan Wake 2 being expanded.

@jesse_dylan @Bigmanfan I also find it weird, because there was a Windows version at launch. No PS4 version, in between. Maybe they asked for a Game Pass deal and they didn’t reach an agreement, so they pushed the Series version as a punishment, who knows… šŸ¤£

@Banjo- is eternal strands a sequel to fenyx rising? Piques my interest a little

Yeah thatā€™s all I can figure is either a game pass deal fell through, or Sony demanded this. Itā€™s just weird when it was on switch and pc. A barebones port from pc to Xbox isnā€™t terribly difficultā€¦ and dunkey has money coming out his rear.

@jesse_dylan Right, making an Xbox port is easy when there is a Windows version. It wouldn’t be the first indie angry because of that. Eternal Strands is by another studio and not related to Immortals Fenyx Rising. If you haven’t played it, I recommend it!
