It’s still a long way before I can save enough money to buy a PS5, but I hope I will get my hand on one just in time for XVI. But then maybe at that point I’ll just wait for a PS5 Slim/Pro? Because how many mainline FF we will get for this generation? It is already 2 years into the PS5’s lifecycle, so probably XVI, XVII, and one or two more parts for FFVIIR?

Question for the hosts: If you have to buy a game for your wedding anniversary, your children’s birthday, etc. which is the worst game your money can buy? Something that is not just bad, but will totally ruin your family?

QOTY – Unfortunately, FF XVI is likely a pass for me. The frenetic, Devil May Cry-style combat is not what I am looking for in my RPGs. Happy for those who are looking forward to the release, but I will stick with the Bravely and Octopath titles.

QOTW: If it also comes out on PC at some point, absolutely!

Currently I still don’t have a PS5, and have been unlucky every time Sony does one of their email invites to buy one from their online store (I either find the email *after* the event has happened or they’re already sold out).

I plan to play it day one. I think the lead up to release will be very entertaining.

I’m super looking forward to it. There is a rumor in the FFXIV spheres that there may be some connections to FFXIV so I’m super stoked for it.
