QotW: I think I fell out of love with Final Fantasy in 2010 with the combination of 13 and 14 1.0; I seriously didn’t think they’d make a good one ever again after that. I dip back in on occasion but XV didn’t really grab me and I won’t be getting a PS5 for XVI until Sony reverses the price increase, but at least I have the memories.

Qotw: I fell out of love with World of Warcraft shortly after shadowlands came out. Even before the sexual harassment allegations blizzard was accused of came to light, I’d cancelled my sub and hadn’t looked back……..until dragonflight was announced. Prior to that, there was a running joke with Kell and I that there were 2 teams that would switch off doing expansions with the even ones being the bad ones done by team B. Cata, WoD, and BFA all seemed to have the stank of a team that wasn’t quite good enough. Shadowlands broke the trend, for the worse, and now i’m hoping dragonflight will be better…but if not that might be it and Lord Vashtal will have to hang up his pewpew and turn his pet into a rug….and put his wow pet into the stable too.

QOTW: I don’t wanna be “that guy” but for me it’s main line Pokemon. I honestly am not sure the reason, though. I’m not one of those people out there screaming #BringBackTheNationalDex or any other such thing.

I was super enthralled with Gens 1 and 2, skipped 3 and 4, came back with Black/White and then went back and played and beat Diamond also. But everything I’ve played after that (X, Moon, Let’s Go: Eevee, Shield), I not only haven’t been able to finish, but my stopping point keeps getting shorter and shorter with each entry I try. I just lose interest and get bored and I don’t know why because I use to ADORE the series in it’s early days, and still enjoy some of the spinoffs; like New Snap.

The series I struggled with is Atelier. I played some of the games early on such as Atelier Iris and Mana kerima. I then started playing the Arland series, but was slowly losing interest in the series. It was not until after playing Atelier Ryza that I rekindled my love for the series.

I have kinda fallen out of love with WoW. Although I have not gone back to in hardcore manner. I can understand why people have, but until they actual bring real change to it. I’m hesitant to give it more chances.

I’ve fallen out of love with Final Fantasy. I absolutely enjoyed 1-6, and then X was so amazing, it made me even love its Lord of the Rings clone, The Third Age. FFXII was such complete Bleh to me that it ended everything in the series for me. Everything newer has looked not-for-me and trying FF9 on the Switch last year, I lasted only 2 hours & noped out. Don’t forsee ever going back, I’m just not a fan.
