I love you Kelley, thank you for calling me out on my bullshit. I suppose I will need to try the demo then!

Also Gamera is a friend to all children!

QotW: Gold medal goes to the new Fire Emblem coming out in Japan – even if my protagonist choices are Toothpaste-Chan and Pepsiman, silver medal to the Suikoden remasters, and bronze medal to PowerWash Simulator on Switch. Honorable mentions to the new Theatrhythm and the two games I thought would never get re-released – Pilotwings 64 and Lickitung’s Sushi-Go-Round – in the Switch Online expansion pack.

Edit: “Japan” should be January.

While everything revealed about Street Fighter 6 at TGS is a blast, I’ve to give the medal to the Valkyrie Elysium demo. It is not Valkyrie Profile, but I have fun with it. As for the new Star Ocean… it is definitely a game that I won’t pre-order and instead wait for the reviews. Somehow it just doesn’t excite me that much. But who here are going to buy Suikoden I and II HD?

Iciban’s English voice actor is Kaiji Tang. I’m not sure if he counts as a himbo, but I would like to mention Owain/Odin from Fire Emblem” Awakening and Fates as another loveable doof that he voices.

Usually, I’d be most excited for Fire Emblem: Engage, but the use of characters from other games in the series seems gimmicky. Maybe I’ll be more excited for it when more about the game is revealed, but I’m a tad hesitant now. So instead, my favorite announcement goes to Tales of Symphonia Remaster, even if it lacks Dawn of the New World.

I suppose I do act like I prefer Dawn of the New World over the first game, but that’s probably because I always feel the need to defend it, heh. Truth be told, I love both games equally. I recognize that Tales of Symphonia is the better game, but I can’t help but adore both the same.

QOTW: I got excited at the Fire Emblem: Engage announcement, even if the main character looks, well… Bad…

I had my mind blown by the Octopath Traveler 2 announcement…

But my absolute favorite was Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line! I put HUNDREDS of hours across the 2 3DS entries enjoying a fun game while listening to some of the best music the gaming industry has ever produced! And I’m very much looking forward to doing it again on Switch!

My favorite games announced at TGS were Suikoden, Tekken 8 and Atelier Ryza 3. I really liked this years TGS.

Like OMG there are so many thing from this TGS. Suikoden 1+2. Ryza 3, Fire Emblem. I’m so very excited for the coming year. I only cry for my wallet cause I haven’t been able to get any Overtime at work.
