
Ruben Amorim makes clear Marcus Rashford point over Alejandro Garnacho’s latest controversy
Manchester United ended their three-game Premier League winless run with a battling 3-2 victory over relegation-threatened Ipswich Town at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils were once again below-par and played the second half with ten men, following Patrick Doru’s red card, before Harry Maguire goal clinched victory.
United looked tactically disjointed as errors from Dorgu and Andre Onana gifted Ipswich their goals and the Tractor Boys threatened a shock result in Manchester.

As part of Amorim’s attempts to regain control after Dorgu’s dismissal, he substituted Alejandro Garnacho just before the break, with Argentina international walking straight down the Old Trafford tunnel.
Eagle-eyed United fans failed to spot if Garnacho returned to the Red Devils bench for the second period and Amorim was forced to answer questions over his winger.

Former United player Rio Ferdinand appeared to criticism Amorim’s decision to remove the attacking threat of Garnacho but the 20-year-old is expected return for a crunch FA Cup Fifth Round clash with Fulham on March 2.
Amorim declined to comment further on Rashford, who has joined Aston Villa on loan until the end of the season, after being frozen out of the United squad following his indication of wanting to leave at the end of 2024.
