Going into the match with ten-straight wins in the league, Sporting found themselves 2-0 down at the break thanks to a brace from Ricardo Horta.
Hidemasa Morita then clawed one back for Amorim’s side, before Morten Hjulmand drew the game level.
With the score level at 2-2, Sporting looked set to see their winning run come to an end, but a dramatic finale was in store.

Amorim was to start at Old Trafford on Monday, with his first United match against Ipswich on November 24.
His long-awaited arrival has now set to be pushed back once more.
Manchester United fan Spencer loves Amorim but believes he can’t save the club!
That’s because the Portuguese coach is still waiting for a work permit.
As a result, he will be unable to officially start his role as United manager a touch later than first planned, although he wasn’t due to take his first training session until the second week of the international break.
The club remain confident the issue will be resolved in the coming days.
