Sean O’Malley fires brutal shot at Henry Cejudo during an appearance on the former champion’s own podcast

Sean O’Malley slammed Henry Cejudo with a brutal insult, while appearing on the former bantamweight King’s podcast.

Throughout his career, ‘Suga’ has never shied away from a war of words, even if he’s on the platform of the man he’s slating.

The bout pits together two of the fiercest rivals in the UFC, with each man desperate to claim the bragging rights over the other.

With so much animosity between the two fighters, it comes as no major surprise that the bout has caught the imagination of the fans.

Therefore, ahead of the contest, Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo welcomed the 135-pound title-holder onto their show to give their fan base a preview of what’s to come.

However, ‘Triple C’ got more than he bargained for, when O’Malley used the opportunity on the podcast as an opportunity to target him.

During a recent episode of Pound 4 Pound with Kamaru and Henry, he said: “Boys, you guys know I’m a very, very busy man. I’ll keep this short. I came here for two reasons: 1) praise to Kamaru, you’re an absolute legend and 2) Henry, how’d you let Aljo (Aljamain Sterling) take you down so easy. (laughs) You’re welcome!”

Following his comments, O’Malley slammed his laptop shut, prompting a chuckle from Cejudo, who took the remarks well.

But that didn’t stop him from calling O’Malley out for a future fight.

He asserted: “Once he loses to Merab—because I do believe he’s going to lose to Merab—f**k it, the next fight that’s up is me and him.

“Deiveson [Figueiredo’s] going to fight Petr Yan, Umar [Nurmagomedov’s] already fighting for the belt, the only dude that’s really left in that whole division is myself. The next best thing is going to be me.

“Granted, I’ve lost two. I lost to the former champion, I lost to the soon-to-be-pending world champion. I know that Merab is going to get this win.”

In several interviews, he’s confirmed that he believes Dvalishvili will have more than enough to get the job done.

However, the Mexican-American has also confirmed the exact way he thinks the fight will end. And it’s pretty brutal for the reigning champion.
