SEC softball tournament 2024 bracket, schedule, TV channel, live streams to watch
With nine teams ranked in D1Softball’s Top 25, the SEC is bound to have its fair share of highly competitive games in its annual softball tournament.
Tennessee claimed the No. 1 seed with its conference-best 19-5 record. The Lady Vols are entering the tournament after completing a sweep of Kentucky, scoring eight runs in each win. Florida is the No. 2 seed, and Texas A&M, Arkansas and Missouri round out the top five.
Every team in the conference has an overall winning percentage above .500, and several teams enter the postseason on hot streaks. Missouri has won five of its last six games, Tennessee has won seven of its last eight and Florida has won six of its last seven.
Florida has four of the top five hitters in the conference heading into the tournament. Korbe Otis leads the pack with a whopping .455 average, and Kendra Falby is right behind her at .407. Tennessee aces Payton Gottshall and Karlyn Pickens own 1.22 and 1.25 ERAs, respectively, and a combined 38-9 record.
This tournament is no stranger to upsets, with No. 10 South Carolina reaching the championship round just last year. The Lady Vols won that game, and they will now be looking to capture back-to-back titles.
