See Matt Damon, Chris Hemsworth, and Jason Momoa Frolic in the Snow Together

Sup, broski? Matt Damon, Jason Momoa, and Chris Hemsworth recently hit the slopes with their families for a very cool hang. Hemsworth shared a series of snaps Tuesday on his Instagram depicting the crew keeping it frosty together in Montana.

“Going from summer in Australia to the snow in Montana is always an epic adventure,” he captioned the carousel.

Given the training that all three have undergone for their action-oriented roles (Damon as Jason Bourne as well as various space explorers in films like The Martian and Elysium, Hemsworth as Marvel’s Thor, whose personality is essentially “biceps,” and Momoa as Aquaman as of late), we can only imagine the feats of lactic acid that they achieved on their sporty vacation.

It’s not the first time that Damon and Hemsworth have taken a group vacay together: The two are longtime friends, and took another much-grammed family trip to Montana in 2019. Among those cherished memories: lots of goofy pics of the actors, their wives, and children crammed into a hot tub in the snow, accessorizing their swimsuits with seasonally appropriate beanies.

Hemsworth’s wife, Elsa Pataky, even has a matching tattoo with Damon’s wife, Luciana Barroso.

“Just three points, it’s simple,” Pataky told Entertainment Tonight in 2019 of the two’s matching ink. “It’s three dots that means today, tomorrow and forever. It’s to remember moments. …When I have a great moment with people that I love, it’s good to remember those moments and have them on your body to just say they mean a lot to me.”

The merry band of Damon-Hemswii haven’t just visited the Damon-favorite haunt of Montana: they’ve also traveled to Hemsworth’s native Australia as a group. On one of those trips, in 2017, one of Damon’s kids was reportedly stung by a jellyfish. Memories to last a lifetime, to be sure.

Damon was also recently spotted at the Golden Globes 2024, where he was nominated for his performance in Air, which was directed by and co-starred another of his besties, Ben Affleck. Much like Affleck’s wife Jennifer Lopez’s insistence that he’s happy, that’s just what his face looks like, Affleck has also blown off any jokes about jealousy about his friend having—gasp!—other friends.

In March 2023, he joked to The Daily Telegraph about not wanting to be photographed next to Hemsworth.

“I think that shows enormous character of Matt to be friends with a guy that much younger and better looking than him,” he said. “Good in practice—but I don’t want to sit next to Chris Hemsworth in photographs so I applaud Matt.”

Jokes aside, Affleck, Damon, and Hemsworth are definitely business bros: Affleck and Damon’s Artists Equity production shingle struck up a deal in December 2023 with Hemsworth’s Wild State to work on film and television projects together.

Group ski vacation or no, as we all know, there’s snow business like show business.
